I don't even know why it's news but you guys keep posting sh*t about it.
Everyone knows any network can be hacked. You don't need to quote something that's well known and then point out that it's interesting. What is interesting is the fact you try to distract from what's really going on, and that's PSN being hacked to hell.
Metro Last Light will definitely be the texture king, but Crysis is still king of lighting, lol.
Yeah, Aliens. With great emphasis on the "s" at the end, besides, the subtitle is "Colonial Marines".
That was a sweet tease, ha! If that's--and I'm sure it was--in game footage, then I'm even more stoked. I think they put this game in the right hands with Gearbox and something special will be brought forth.
When I see exclusives thrown around, I don't fall for the hype because they're basically announcements for games that won't be out for at least a year. And when that year comes full circle, those games get pushed back, lol.
Gears is big business!
You are correct.
Anything besides the same ole military shooter. I need something with an interesting campaign, and I don't think the type of game I mentioned earlier will be able to provide such a thing.
If it didnt have all the other stuff for entertainment like:Netflix, Hulu, ESPN , so on and so forth; then of course the number for gaming would be 100%.
Pfft...
To pull something like this off, it would need a stable network. On console, I dont see any other company being able to provide such stability.
Superior version? It won't even have motion blur skinning.
ipumpmygun, I hate collpased comments so next time you comment, try to bring something insightful and intelligent to the table.
I'm not mad at multiplayer. I loved the weapons and the "up top" enviroments--yeah, keep the corridor shooting to a minimum. They can mix it up a bit, with something like a TDM mode that includes letting the creatures run wild on the maps and you have to kill them along with the other team. But besides that, yeah, I would prefer a longer--way longer campaign that is super polished.
Accessible? That kinda' sucks actually, but then again, I can see why they would do it. I hope it isn't by much though, seeing that the original had 3 or 4 different difficulty levels, they shouldn't have to do to much.
Lol, at the people who thought the game was broken because it was too difficult for them.
Rockstar games on Blu-ray...
This looks rather promising if true and has made my day! That 512mb main RAM, I'm assuming thats used significantly for the OS? If so, then I can see Nintendo brining back a beefed up window lookin format for the interface adding an App store. This system is definitely looking to aim it's sight to the 3rd party core game devs. I'm wondering what Nintendo will deliver in games that will make use of all that power, or will they just let 3rd party devs have fun with it--kinda like wh...
Wasn't Metro 2033 ported over to the 360? From what I hear, trying to develop on different platforms simultaneously is expensive. Nevertheless, Metro looked great on the 360 and the only visual hiccup I saw--and I've played through at least 4 times--was the texture work on a couple of vehicles when you went "up top". It was like they forgot to go back and tidy those up, lol, very low res on those cars.
